BEIJING (November 6, 2023) – Nissan’s sales in China reached 73,272 units in October.
The sales volume of Dongfeng Nissan (including the Nissan, Venucia, and INFINITI brands) reached 70,006 units in October. The LCV business represented by Zhengzhou Nissan (ZNA) sold 3,266 units in October. Nissan’s sale (including PV & LCV) saw a strong month-on-month growth of 14.8%.
Nissan in China sold 620,016 units in the last ten months.
Shohei Yamazaki, senior vice president of Nissan, as well as chairman of the Management Committee for China and president of Dongfeng Motor Ltd. (DFL) said: “In a constantly changing business environment in China, we are ensuring sustainable growth, and accelerating introduction of new products to the market.”
“In October, Nissan Altima contributed strong month-on-month growth. The total sales of Nissan Sylphy family exceed 5 million units. The SUV lineup also showed strong increase. These will help us fulfill our commitment to meet the diversified needs of Chinese customers,” Yamazaki added.
* Since October 2022, DFAC results are excluded from LCV due to scope change.
